Teen Challenge Aftercare Support

Aftercare is a vital part for anyone who has come through the battle of addiction. The success of Teen Challenge drug rehab is that the teachings given are all useful for helping the person to walk in a new direction for their lives. Since Teen Challenge is a faith based programme, and all the central teachings have a biblical foundation, it is important that the aftercare given will continue to strengthen and deepen the individual’s faith and life.

Relationship Care

Working alongside anyone who leaves Teen Challenge, either on phase 4 (see programme overview), or on completion of their programme, will be a local church, who will be prepared to offer the person the help needed in building new and lasting friendships within the church community.

Accomodation Support

Teen Challenge will help in the area of accomodation either in one of it’s move on homes, or will work closely with the local church and council to help secure accomodation seperately if the individual prefers this option. This way of aftercare helps the individual so much as in most cases many people who leave residential drug programmes fail to receive any aftercare support whatsoever.

Forming New Friendships

This is different at Teen Challenge as we encourage the individual to find new and meaningful relationships with people who will build up and not pull down and must no way be connected to using any of the substances that they themselves would have had a problem with.
