Outreach

Street Outreach- The Joshua Project

Our team of evangelists and reformed ex-addicts reach out to the forgotten places in a community, partnering with local churches to facilitate an ongoing referral pathway into rehabilitation. Each project targets a specific area and lasts approximately 12 weeks. During this time, we reach out to the most broken and vulnerable by volunteering in local drop-in centres, soup kitchens, and walking the streets to extend this hand of hope for lasting reform. This outreach project is a co-partnership between Teen Challenge London and the local church(es) combining the influence of the church in the local community and that of Teen Challenge who specialize in the field of addiction, rehabilitation, outreach and evangelism.  During this period we offer free training in evangelism and addiction awareness to churches currently, or seeking to become actively involved in community based outreach. Our aim is to equip the body of Christ to reach the homeless community within their local area, and support them in this endeavour by offering our resources and experience.
