Kervin Julien, who returned money given in the TV programme Secret Millionaire, has received £7,500 from a woman who does not wish to be named.
The entrepreneur, Sue Stone, gave the Salvation Army worker £15,000 but after she vetoed a number of his projects Kervin handed the money back. Kervin is a born again Christian and Ms Stone didn’t like the charity’s connections with Northpoint church in Bell Green.
Kervin wants to open Coventry’s first full time drug rehabilitation centre and has be amazed at the local communities response to his fund raising efforts. He says that handing back the money to the programme has made the people of Coventry ask how they can help.
