New Drug Rehab Facility For Pampa
PAMPA, TEXAS -- The City of Pampa will be getting a new facility that will create jobs and help with the recovery of drug, alcohol, and substance abuse addicts in the Panhandle area.
The facility name will be Lifetime Recovery Centers of America, and by this time next year should be opening its doors. The center will create about 50-plus new jobs in its first year and is projected to help stimulate Pampa's economy.
Representatives of the facility tell us that drug and alcohol abuse is a problem that's a lot closer to home than you may think. The project has a budget of $40-million and is projected to bring the City of Pampa $18-million in tax revenue in it's first five years.
Officials are looking at various sites for the centers location.
