Johnson & Johnson Heiress Casey Johnson Buried
Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson was buried in a tiny graveyard in Princeton, N.J. on Tuesday.
Johnson's unmarked, freshly dug grave sits barren in the corner of Trinity-All Saints' Cemetery near Princeton University, devoid of any marker or flowers.
Her father, Jets owner Woody Johnson, organized the ultra-secret service and watched alongside Johnson's mother, Sale, and sisters, Daisy and Jaime, as the troubled socialite was lowered into the ground, sources told the Daily News.
"No one was here except immediate family. Mr. Johnson wanted to keep this location private and closed to the public," said an employee at All Saints' Episcopal Church, which shares the cemetery with another parish.
A maid discovered the dead body of Johnson, 30, in a bed at a friend's home on Jan. 4.
Investigators suspect diabetes -- which Johnson had been living with since childhood -- led to her death, sources have said. Toxicology results have not been released.
Johnson is buried beside Robert Wood Johnson, a former president of the Johnson & Johnson company, who was also the company founder's grandson. She was also buried next to her uncle, Keith, who in 1975 died in his Fort Lauderdale., Fla., apartment at age 25, apparently of a cocaine overdose.
A third relative, Willard Case Johnson, is also buried in the family plot.
