Glee star tells how rehab saved his life

Cory Monteith, who plays Finn in the hit show Glee has revealed how his teenage years of drink and drugs has left him with a deep desire to help kids at risk.

Montieth was forced into a rehabilitation centre by his mother and friends at the age of 19.  He started drinking and taking drugs at 13 and dropped out of school.  He now does all he can to use his position to help kids who are at risk of going the same way he did.

Cory visited the YMCA Foyer in Ealing, West London, during the show’s tour in the UK.  He was determined to take time out to speak to young people and support the work of the centre.
