Stephen Paladino, 53, is now behind bars after being arrested with a .30 blood alcohol content, nearly four times the legal limit.

At about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Folsom Police got a call from a woman saying that an extremely intoxicated man had arrived at her house with groceries and a watermelon, but had driven away after realizing it was the wrong house. She gave police his license plate number.

Police immediately began searching for the vehicle while several schools in the area were about to end for the day.  Officers finally located Paladino about two blocks from his home, but he ignored the lights and sirens.  Paladino raced to his home, parked his SUV inside the open garage and then closed the garage door as officers ran up to the vehicle, according to police.

Paladino was arrested without further incident for driving impaired and driving impaired while being on probation for driving impaired.  It is Paladino's sixth alcohol related offense in three years and his fourth drunk driving arrest.
