Drug and alcohol centre in memory of Amy Winehouse put on hold

Someone has already registered an organisation in the name of “Amy Winehouse” and so legally the foundation cannot go ahead until the situation has been resolved.

Amy’s house in Camden is to be the sight for the new foundation and it aim will be to help young people with drug and alcohol addiction who cannot afford to use a private rehabilitation centre.

Mitch Winehouse is furious that someone should buy the name and then presumable try to sell it at a huge profit or attempt to stop the foundation going ahead.
