NHS Drug Choices is about Real Stories of Solvent Abuse. 

 

National Drugs Helpline. This is a 24-hour, seven-days a week, free and confidential telephone service. 

 

First Aid This is a short guide on administering help when someone is in trouble after taking drugs.  

 

CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau) Citizens Advice Bureau provide free, confidential and independent advice from over 3,000 locations including in bureau, GP surgeries, hospitals, colleges, prisons and courts.

 

DirectGov This is about getting help with drug or alcohol problems, health issues, money issues, tax issues, disabilities, benefits, education, employment etc.

 

Samaritans give confidential help for anyone who is experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.  

 

Supportline give confidential and emotional support on the telephone for children, young adults and adults who are socially isolated, vulnerable, at risk and victims of any form of abuse. 

 

NHS Smoking Helpline. Don't give up giving up. Offers friendly advice and support from a specialist advisor about giving up smoking. 

 

Quitline This is a helpline for smokers who want to stop & people trying to remain as ex-smokers.  

 

Connexions Direct can offer you all the information and advice you need to make the decisions and choices in your life.   

 

Child Help Line. You can talk to them about anything...Bullying, Running away, School, Friends, Gangs, Cyber bullying, Puberty, Peer Pressure, Crime, Sex, Abuse, Pregnancy, Drugs, Families, Alcohol etc.

 

NSPCC. Worried about a child? Help for adults, children and teenagers. Need advice or just want to talk?  

 

Child Death Helpline. This is for anyone affected by the death of a child of any age, from prebirth to adult, under any circumstances, however recently or long ago.
