At Teen Challenge we have continued to receive financial and business support from Breakeryard.com
The company Breakeryard Ltd directly provides a call centre for our ladies centre at Hope House based in South Wales. This helps women who have previously been homeless with life controlling problems to gain confidence and experience again in a proper business and working environment. Breakeryard.com has witnessed women graduate the Teen Challenge programme who gained experience in the Breakeryard Call Centre. Some of these amazing ladies have then gone onto find jobs in other call centres across the country to further their careers.
'We are so pleased with the call centre business that Breakeryard has helped set up here at the Ladies centre, and I know this has helped the girls greatly to move forward in confidence for their futures' Fiona Fallon Manager of Teen Challenge Hope House.
Breakeryard also donates a majority of profit made in the business to help bring more people off the streets and house them in a loving Godly environment.
In April 2004 Teen Challenge took over the ownership of Breakeryard.com. This came at an amazing time as the Goverment had just ceased funding Teen Challenge due to the Christian principles being applied in the programme. There were only 9 beds available then however, with the faithful support from Breakeryard Ltd there are now 29 residential beds in London available to help people find freedom from their addictions.
There have been many graduates from the Teen Challenge programme who have benefited from experience in the London Breakeryard Office. One testimony is from a lady called Rhonda who had no experience at all with computers and was very nervous when first placed before a PC screen. However, after a few months she was able to glide around simple processes, setting up spread sheets, operating microsoft word etc. She then went on to become a PA in a doctors surgery which was a great move for her. Previously, Rhonda was a drug addict on the streets of Glasgow however, her whole life was turned around through the success of the Teen Challenge programme help from Breakeryard.
