How can I get help?
If you are looking to enter the Teen Challenge drug rehab programme, you will need to complete an application form. Once the application form has been completed, please email it to us or post it to the address found on our contact us page.
What is the age that an individual may enter your program and do you have a cut-off age?
Teen Challenge centres in the UK accept adults aged 18+.
Do I have to participate in the religious aspects of the programme to receive services?
Prior to entrance an applicant is carefully informed as to the faith-based nature of the programme and that although entering a Teen Challenge programme is voluntary all aspects of the programme are mandatory upon entrance.
If a person drops out of the programme can they receive a refund?
The £50.00 entrance fee is non-refundable.
Do you have centres for the whole family?
Teen Challenge in the UK does not operate any centres that treat the entire family in residence.
Do you have centres for mothers and children and if so where?
Teen Challenge in the UK does not operate any centres that treat mothers and children in residence.
Do you have co-ed centres?
All Teen Challenge centres are non co-ed and interaction is strictly controlled.
Can I detox at your centres and if not where can I go?
Most Teen Challenges require that you detox before entering the programme. There are detox centres in most communities. Some centres have detox facilities however the ones that do usually have a longer waiting list.
Will Teen Challenge accept dual diagnosis or mentally ill patients?
Teen Challenge is open to assist all who are able to function in a residential setting. We are not able to accept those who are using anti-psychcotic medications.
How long is your programme?
The typical Teen Challenge programme lasts 17 months barring any unforeseen circumstances. Emphasis is placed, not on a time element, but on the evaluated progress of the student as to when completion is made. However if a student leaves the programme they would have to start again
Do you have adult programmes?
Yes, in fact the all of our programmes in the UK are for participants aged 18 and over.
Does it cost to go to your programme and if so how much?
The cost of your stay with Teen Challenge London is covered by a variety of different sources. Applications are made on your behalf for ESA/Universal Credit and Housing Benefit upon entry to Teen Challenge.
Does an individual have to be willing to go to your programme?
Yes. Teen Challenge is a voluntary program.
If I want to re-enter your programme do I have to start all over again?
That would depend on the circumstances under which you left. In most cases you would have to start all over again. If you want to go to a different Teen Challenge centre from the one you were originally in be aware that the new centre will need to contact the former Teen Challenge for a follow-up on your activity during your stay.
